The Spirit of Service is in the word Lifeguard. Everyday in every department around the world, you will find lifeguards and JGs serving their communities. It may be hosting the annual Red Cross blood drive, assisting at a Special Olympics swim meet, teaching a water safety class at a preschool, tutoring a student in marine ecology or putting in an evening shift as a volunteer nurse at a local hospital. How can you serve? Please join us by developing a list of service opportunities in your neighborhood and interviewing some of the volunteer coordinators at these organizations.
