ASSIGNMENTS

Think about the largest public recreation area in or near your hometown. It might be a waterway, a regional park, a performing arts complex or a theme park. Consider all the different people and uses at the selected recreation area. List the main Safety and First Responder agencies, services and personnel you would need to provide for day-to-day safety and for emergency management in case of a life-threatening storm, tornado, hurricane or earthquake. Once you have made your list, outline or diagram a plan to coordinate those agencies, services and personnel in the event of an emergency.
